Help needed. Strange fault
I have a dell precision 5540.
All was working fine, until I did the windows updates.
Now the keyboard ghost types and put some foreign characters or doesn't respond at all.
I've tried the usual reinstalling drivers from dell and nothing had worked.
I fresh installed windows and reset the bios and again it was working with no issues.
But now the laptop auto updated and the issue is happening again.
The strangest part that points away from software... With the bottom panel off and laptop open it seems to type fine. But as soon as I half close the lid the issue starts again.
I can be holding ssssssssssssss then close the lid and it'll change to something like " /D" or "é"
Anyone had a similar issue? I've been working on it for hours and it's really breaking my willpower
