6.0 POWERSTOKE PROBLEM/ HELP ME
I have a 05 6.0 Powerstroke with 196k miles. I’ve only had it for a year, a couple months ago I was driving back to my school which is a 9 hour drive. Around the 7th hour my battery light came on and I would hit the gas and it was go away, let off the gas and it would come back. So I changed the alternator and had my neighbour hook up his truck to mine and let it charge the batteries for a little. This is mid winter and I live in a cold town and the truck crank right up I let it warm up and I was driving to the mountains and it dies in the freeway. So I bought new batteries. The truck wouldn’t hold a charge and was being super weird. I took it to one shop and the changed my ICP sensors and pig tails. They gave the truck back to me and I was driving again then just dies at a stop light. Come to find out there was a crack in my hpop shooting oil into my coolant. So I took it to another shop, they resealed my hpop, new oil cooler, 8 new injectors, blue spring, and little other small things. They can’t get the truck running passed 170° and it just dies on them. So they changed the engine wiring harness and they had it running up to temps for a couple hours but then died on them again. Can anyone please help me figure out what the fuck is going on with my truck.
