First diesel I’ve ever owned and want real advice rather than googles “could be this”… I was installing the S&S disaster prevention kit and after removing the intake i noticed some oil puddled in the turbo and some slight residue in the intake, is it normal, terrible? Or likely because of the CCV being bad?

2016 F-250 6.7L with 84,000 miles..

Don’t know if the CCV filter has been replaced ever but it doesn’t look ballooned but it’s still on the list of repairs

So I’m shopping for my oil change interval and I’ve been reading around. I live in Florida so I will be sticking with 15/40 synthetic but I currently use T6 Rotella. Is this a better or worse oil? Am I selling my truck short and should I be buying a “better” or different oil? Anyone have good or bad experience with this brand? I was interfacing with AI about it and it says it’s great for the shear that the Heui system and would last longer than most types. Any thoughts? Anyone bored and want to give me their opinion on it? I don’t mind spending more but if I do I want it to really count. My truck has 207k miles on it

Looked at a 96 F350 single cab long bed with a 7.3 powerstroke today and was looking to see what a fair value is. Truck has 386k miles with one owner. Has a rusted bed, cab corners, rockers and some rust on the fenders but the frame was fairly solid. Got parked 3 years ago but ran when it was parked

was changing the cups for my 1999 power stroke when this happened:(

that’s what I get for buying it from Amazon

Any ideas on how to get it out please 🙏
