Made a small 3D animation to pay homage to my favorite scene in the series
Hi everyone!
I run a small Instagram channel where I create 3D animations, partially inspired by the style of older games
This time, I’ve put together a short piece dedicated to the original God of War (2005).
This is a small homage to my favorite scene from the PS2 classic. It captures Kratos as he ventures into the Desert of Lost Souls from Athens, offering a moment for both him and the player to reflect on the heavy burden of his guilt and tragedy.
For me, this scene holds a personal, bittersweet meaning outside the game itself, something that has kept me coming back to it over the years. I wanted to capture that feeling in a more heightened way, using the specific animation style I’ve been developing lately.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! How do you think this style fits a classic GOW tribute?
