Stop killing games

The stop killing games movement has officially reached the eu parliament and has was debated that video game media getting shut down violated consumer rights and that the industry will shut down older games so gamers can buy new ones which never happens in other mediums like books or movies. A study shows that a large percentage of them were left unplayable without self preservation. This movement doesn’t expect companies to keep servers running non stop but with publishers to have an end to life plan with private servers or offline modes.

Because of the shut down with Little big planet and the series, this initiative could help bring justice to not only just our beloved game but also other games that were unfortunately shut down.

This won’t bring back little big planet officially of course, but it will help bring justice to games that are vulnerable to shut down in the future. This movement reminded me of the shutdown of LBP and how we never got to experience the online adventures of that game officially.

How to make Sackboy Walking on the ceiling?

I'm currently playing the one level where Sackboy goes through a Space station, but I don't know how to make Sackboy walk on the ceiling...

What are some of your best/funny memories with the LittleBigPlanet franchise?

It can be absolutely anything! Wether a type of level, costume or part in any of the story mode etc.

For example, one for me was when it used to zoom in on the player who collected the most score bubbles at the end and some people would try to slap you and so you'd just watch the screen bounce as you're getting slapped😂

Another one, by either yourself or with friends, running either side of the pod enough to hear it hit the walls on either side.

Did anyone slap their friends or their friends slap them just at the same time as putting on a jetpack? You'd loose the jetpack but still you would fly for a little bit lol

Bomb survivals, not sure about anyone else but it was fun to grab onto something a bomb explode just close enough for you to be launched😂

Lastly, mastering the 'slap' on fight levels, once mastered (knowing the perfect time to hit) you could hit your friends continually without them being able to hit back and this was fun but the same could also happen to you and you wouldn't have chance to move unless you plummeted to a bar of electricity😂

Just wondering what other memories people had? Take care all!

Just bought a button maker

Just got a button maker and first thing I thought to make was a SackBoy button. I think I might make a Sackboy ita bag now lol

Any inside scoop on Restitched?

I was a huge LBP fan and made some stuff in dreams. Eventually I made a game for steam which is coming out in a few weeks.

I've come across Restitched before, and came across it again today reminiscing about old LBP stuff. It seems like it's been in development for a long time and has a pretty sizable group of volunteers, but still nothing for people to actually play. Those are usually not great flags, but projects have had great success still after that. There have also been failures... (Kerbal Space Program 2 being a sort of analog for how badly a promising thing can go)

I went to apply on their website but they're not currently accepting anyone, and say a lot of people have come and gone too. Has anyone from there ever come around here to talk about it? I'd love for this project to be seen through to the end.

Error after trying to connect to a patched lbp bonsai on lbp vita.

Hi everyone. Im at a loss. I decrypted my downloaded copy of Little big planet ps vita using FAGdec and then patched it using the little big patcher app to connect to the "bonsai" custom online server as the usual servers are no longer operational. However I receive this error when attempting to boot up the game. I followed the instructions to the letter.

Ive already tried resetting the vita with no luck. Another game I have installed also opens and works completely so im at a loss.

I appreciate this might not be the best place to ask but hopefully someone familiar with the process has an idea on what went wrong. Thanks!

Edit: I've deleted the FAGdec and little big patcher VPKS using vitashell and the error still persists.

I found out how to get community levels to work on my PS4 :D

LBPOnline still isn't out yet, but I found another method where you can get levels from LBP find. I downloaded some levels that I remember playing when I was younger.

are the LBP online servers up?

I bought again a physical copy of LBP3 for the PS4 (I play on PS5) so I can play online but does anyone know if the server are ready worldwide?

Looking for a lvl

Hey! Does anyone remember a community level where you had to collect rocks during the day and fight machines at night? I feel like it was based on metal gear solid and it makes it harder to find gameplay footage, but I was too young to understand any references.
