Is it just me, or is anyone else just irritated by how the Swadesh list had the word "he" but not "she" or better yet, "they" as a singular.

Is there an actual reason to this or was Morris Swadesh just sexist?

I caught my son using a search engine called start page to watch, you can guess what he was watching.

The way start page works is that it creates a new tab that uses a VPN and it disguises it in the search history as some random string of characters after the startpage.com part.

I thought I should let you all know about this.

List of all the shit he's done:

Homophobia

• Believes that LGBTQ+ people should be publicly executed
• Repeatedly has gone up to LGBTQ+ students and shouted "2-3 years Dagestan"
• Believes any LGBTQ+ rep in media is just an attempt to get views
• Repeatedly called LGBTQ+ students the F slur

Racism

• Believes black history month is a conspiracy to promote black superiority
• He's a holocaust denier
• He supports ICE
• Has walked up to multiple students of Indian/Middle Eastern descent and asked them if their dads have seven wives

sexism

• Believes women and girls shouldn't be allowed education or work
• Has gone up to multiple female students and told them they're wasting their time in school since they're gonna be cooking for their husbands and kids in 30 years
• Believes abortion shouldn't even be allowed if the women's life is at risk, saying the women should die instead of getting an abortion

other stuff

• Has SA'd someone in the middle of class before
• Doesn't see any problem with any of his behaviour

BTW, the worst punishment he's gotten for all of this put together is a 3-day suspension, he has damn plot armour

I was wondering if any of you happen to know about any careers safe from AI in the field of genetics, I am feeling a lot of anxiety around the subject.

I'm really interested in the genetics, I'm just worried that if I go into it, I'm gonna lose it to AI.

I'm feeling a lot of anxiety with AI and job security in the future.

Is anyone willing to give me some computing based or genetics based careers that can't be taken by AI, if that's not too much trouble.

I've recently discovered bioinformatics, and the idea of it is very appealing to me, since I'm really in biology and programming.

I was wondering what an actual bioinformatics career would look like, if that's not too much trouble.

I've been trying to find out how to move a slime mold from dish to dish, and I have seen a lot of different ways.
