My store is in the middle of a disagreement rn with what to do with a rag after you wipe the counters with it.

Example 1: I grab a clean rag, wipe the counters, toss it in the sanitizer solution bucket. Next time someone wants to wipe counters, they grab the rag out of the sanitizer solution, ring it out and use it. Used till it gets gross or something then tossed to dirty rags can.

Example 2: grab a clean rag, wipe the counters, put it back in with the clean rags to be used again.

OR what do you guys do??

Or does anyone know the actual standard???

I’m part of the SCAP program and soon to be graduating. Was curious if I can get any sort of Certifications done while I’m still considered a student with a discounted rate or if SCAP will pay for it.

Is anyone familiar with this?

I was thinking something like CAPM, NN/g, CUA, Figma….

I have an ASM at my store who is technically a dual ASM. They work at a couple of different stores around our city but I’m pretty sure is our stores ASM.

I’m a little peeved because whenever they work at my store they never lead the shift or is keyholder. During past shift meetings my manager has talked about if a manager is on the shift they should be running the shift, like be on Playcaller role.

I’m a little annoyed because anytime this asm works at my store they are positioned on the play-builder as a barista role. Usually on bar or oven. And I’ve asked if they want to be in the playcaller role and they just say “nah, I’m a barista today” or “well, is that what the play-builder says?”

I’m pretty sure the asm makes the plays themself or my manager does. But either way it’s irritating.

Im an online student and got an awarded a Regalia Kit, it arrived 2 weeks ago and it included the gown, cap, and tassel. I assumed it came with the gratitude stole (plain gold) as well but it didn’t.

I’ve seen online pictures/videos of grads who have embroidered stoles with their major or ‘first gen’ stoles. I’m wondering is that something I can purchase at the bookstore on campus or was that something I should’ve purchased back when it was the ‘Grad Fair’?
