We have some fruit set out on the table.
While grabbing a piece of already cut and ready to eat watermelon, I thought about people doing this for a living.
I had a part-time cashier job a few years ago. One of my coworkers would go through my line and I asked her about her job.
She worked in the produce department. Her job was to come in, put on gloves, grab a knife, and cut up fruit and vegetables.
It may sound boring to some. But I'm sure there's more to it. I'm certainly not trying to insult anyone who does this!
It seems like something one could do without having to deal with many people. In another life, I will seriously consider it, 🤔 !
