I had a tooth extraction and bone graft done on Tuesday so 4 days post operation not including day of. They did use dissolvable stitches I notice today a piece of white string is now hanging from the extraction site, is this normal? I fainting remember him saying if I saw something fall out it’s ok but I thought it was some type of absorbent gauze . I had never had stitches before yet alone in my gum so Im just Curios is the stitches normally do this, also no pain or anything happened after I noticed.
