So I’m doing my due diligence on this one, trying to find the best possible route for the new CC maxi flap in brown. I’ve seen a review from another redditor referring to his latest purchase of a black maxi flap and calling is a “masterpiece” for $600. I’ve gotten a few other quotes from other sellers ranging from 450-500.
Has anyone else used the seller mentioned? I know of another Jack from other subs but the number is different.
No shade to anyone, just want to know if the high price tag is justified.

3/24: got PSP for other two items (I had a couple questions and asked for a few additional photos to make sure I was happy with hardwear, Laomao was very helpful and gave me extra photos with new lighting by 3/25)
3/30: I reached out to Laomao for tracking update, let me know they found an issue with the strap of one of the bags while getting ready to ship, so they went back to factory for replacement. (That was a nice touch)
4/3: got tracking but then it changed few times (final tracking number came 4/11)
4/21: items arrived 🤎🩵🩷

REVIEW:
● Quality numeric rating and assessment - 9/10 for the bag itself (the leather and stitching are wonderful. Only time will tell on durability. Take a point off because I feel like one of the notches for the handles is the tiniest bit lop sided, but not enough that I would have red lighted) 8/10 for the straps (the leather used is great, but the hardwear feels very lightweight, kind of gives a cheaper feel. I likely won’t use them anyway)
● Accuracy numeric rating and assessment compared to the auth or factory pic - in comparison to the fashionphile photos, I give it a 9/10. I can’t really spot any differences. Maybe the stamping and date code is slightly off, but no one’s looking in there but me. Like I mentioned above, the hardwear feels cheaper, too light weight, so one point off for that. The shade of blue is on point, and the champagne hardwear is just the right shade of light gold, almost silver under certain lighting. I used to have an authentic mini lady, sold her to fashionphile a while back because she felt so delicate and I hated the idea of ruining her. This one on the other hand I know I’ll reach for more often, and I can confidently say the puffiness, feel of leather, stitching is amazing. I’m impressed.
● Satisfaction numeric rating and assessment - 10/10 overall satisfaction. I have seen the authentic in store and I definitely think what I paid is absolutely worth it. I love this bag so much and can’t wait to take her out.
● Service and/or Communication numeric rating and assessment. - Laomao gets a 10/10 everytime. They have been my go to agent so far, and I will definitely continue to shop their catalog. I appriciate the honesty in quality and so far I haven’t had any reason not to trust that I’m getting exactly what I’m paying for. I appreciate especially the extra QC they did before shipping and the fact they went ahead and fixed the issue before I could even catch it. Communication is always quick and helpful. They’re also so friendly! Love when I can crack a joke and they send one right back 🥰

**Seller**: Heidi
**Price**: 300-6% discount =276 + 30 shipping . Total $306
**Leather quality:** 9/10 good depth, nice bounce back, 1 point off because it’s not as pores as I would have liked
**Zipper**: 9/10 smooth for the most part, gets sticky at the corners when trying open fully
**Chain**: 10/10 nice weight, I see no issues on the weaving (feels nicely constructed and not stiff, the leather is finished well on raw edges so there is not a big difference in color variance
**Hardwear color**: 10/10 IMO on point
**Accuracy to authentic**: 9/10 I think the authentic on fashionphile has a more puffy leather but I know Chanel puffiness can vary across all bags. The shininess of caviar and shade of hardwear I’d say is very close. In my photos the black doesn’t look as deep or rich but in person I think it does.
***Brown Vanity - XC***
**Seller**: Laomao
**Price**: 211 (this was part of a larger order so shipping was 60. I’ll divide shipping by number of items so for this one 20) Total $231
**Leather quality**: 8/10 it feels and looks a little dry, I’m hoping some conditioner will help with that. I like how pores it is, so feels more real
**Zipper**: 8/10 not as smooth as 187, and the inside zipper hardwear looks cheaper
**Chain**: 8/10 nice weight, but the leather is similarly dry and tightly woven through the chain. It doesn’t really fall as nicely as the 187. In photos you can see it’s kind of twisted in some parts and doesn’t lay flat. I’ll also try to condition and maybe it’ll loosen up a bit.
**Hardwear color:** 10/10 IMO on point
**Accuracy to authentic**: 7/10 now I might be a little harsh because I don’t know if Chanel makes a lighter shade of this drown. Compared to the fashionphile photos it’s not as deep or rich in the shade of brown. The shininess of caviar I’m hoping looks better after a little conditioner and shade of hardwear I’d say is very close. In my photos the brown looks far lighter but it’s still light enough where there is a big difference between this and authentic.

In terms of accuracy to authentic, I think 187 wins. I don’t want to judge the leather yet until after I condition it, we shall see. I’m still very happy with both bags however. For the price difference I’m ok with the brown not being very accurate. Would I go with XC again? Sure, if 187 isn’t making a certain color way, I’d still be happy with it.
