I just got my nails filled and repainted yesterday. They’d been on for like 3.5 weeks prior. My nail tech asked if I was happy with the length and I for some reason said yes. But… gosh… I should’ve had them shortened. I don’t know what I was thinking. They’re so long now. Is there a way to have them shortened without completely ruining the design or having to repaint them?
i recently moved to this area and i’ve gotten a couple sets done at my current salon that i really loved, supposedly they’re the best in the area for designs which i always get. however, my last couple sets have been either not exactly what i asked for or straight up bad. this set is the straw breaking the camels back :( the last pic was the inspo, they’re supposed to be a skinny coffin shape and i was going for a yellow-y gold for spring! also pls ignore my dirty car i know i need to clean it
Two catseye polishes layered- a lavender and then a silver on top. Not sure what brand my salon uses, but very pleased with how it came out!

What I asked for vs what I got. This was my first time in a salon. This took 2 hours and was $100 plus tip. I wanted to add a little length, they said I had to do gel-x. Man that burned. Just disappointed by the whole experience. I had been debating going for so long and now I remember why I try to do my nails at home. Am I overreacting? My husband says they look fine.
For real, cat eyes are my new obsession 😭
I've bitten my nails for years and years but expecting an engagement soon so thought it would be a nice treat to get a gel manicure done! I got some basic colour done a few weeks ago and upgraded to some art on Thursday
Unfortunately my index finger has split and there's some dark lines where the old gel was so definitely some repair work to do but it's nice to finally have nails for once 😊
