I am just looking at options here. I'm a Management Accountant with 10 yrs in accounting, tax- GST, VAT and UAE CT, advisory experience. I also work as a instructor for professional certification exams like ACCA, CMA and CPA.

I'm looking at roles in L&D, training delivery or compliance. I have experience in education gamification, instructional design and curriculum development too.

I was looking at a post on here by someone who claimed she wanted to feel financially secure in herself and self sufficient before getting romantically involved with a partner.

I commented that I have a bill split rule while dating and after we're exclusive I will gladly pick up the tab. Apparently that's wrong if no one told me cuz women gauge if a guy is relationship material based on bills paid.

So my question to the Bengaluru:

What are the dating etiquettes a single introvert needs to know? Esp one with no social life since I work remotely.

What are these unsaid check boxes that make a parter unappealing to you?

What dating app would you suggest for awkward introverts who do not want to swipe based on pics?

Is there any place ppl can get to know each other first before meeting/dating.

Somewhere the matches happen based on mutual interests like TV shows or books or music!

Not a fan of the traditional apps. I'd like to know if anyone has successfully matched energy first and then met cuz I used to that back in the day but lately is like every topic ppl turn into something inappropriate.

Giving this a shot.

I'm 30M from Bangalore. Jain(if that matters). I'm a vegetarian who drinks/smokes socially.

I work from home in finance and hence have 0 social life.

I've tired dating apps and anon apps and at the end of it everything boils down to ppl not willing to take things forward. It's either the religion, society or diet that ppl realize after years of dating is an issue to get married 🙃

My ideal relationship would be one of mutual respect and individual aspirations but supporting each other in our life and pursuits. The cliche - sweet, sassy and nerdy/introvert/book girly. Past experience shows I gel great with Scorpio and Taurus women. Still open to converse with others.

Hobbies - used to write, voracious reader (miss it tho) and lately binge watching shit on OTT. Travel with the right ppl.

I'm an ambivert and can mix with any crowd.

I can't use dating apps cuz my second job is teaching and I don't want to show up on a students suggestion hence I'm here 🫠
