What else to decorate betta tank?

What else to decorate betta tank?

Got a 5 gallon betta tank today, everything in the photo is what I bought today. Ive already started the cycling process so im not worried about that.

Im already planning on buying a few more plants but what else can I decorate this tank with?

I have a 30 gallon already that I've had for a while but its only decorated with big plants that have been growing large and in charge for a while, and some decor that bettas cant have.

What else should I get for this tank? Not Just decor but things bettas like?

How I finally shifted after 2 and a half years of trying

So when I first start shifting, I tried a million methods. Nothing worked, and I always fell asleep before anything could happen.

But last night, I finally was able to shift, it wasn't anything extreme, but I opened my eyes in what looked like a 3d version of minas dorm in mha, like the leopard print and stuff. I stood up and looked around before I suddenly felt extremely scared and woke up.

But here's how I did it, I ended up doing a lot of research cause I kept failing, and ended up finding a book on shifting and lucid dreaming, and one of the methods was to force your brain into a semi conscious state while your body is asleep.

It wasn't too hard, basically you set an alarm for late at night(i set mine for midnight), so right when you go into rem sleep you wake up all tired. Then right after that you immediately lay back down in the same position and close your eyes. You start deep breathing and relaxing your body as if your trying to fall asleep, but instead of clearing your mind you think about your script.

Now is the hardest part, when your body begins to relax, you start to feel really weird, it took me a few days to get it but you start to feel heavy and feel like you cant breathe (but dont worry! Just keep breathing like normal, dont try to take deep breaths or anything), this is normal. Your legs and arms will start to go numb the deeper you fall into sleep and you will start to feel whats kinda like the beginning of a headache.

Now this next part is a little iffy for me, it doesnt always work. But you'll start actually falling asleep but your brain is still awake and thinking about your script, and when you finally fall asleep whatever you were thinking about will be what you wake up too, in my case that was minas dorm from mha. I recommend looking up a 3d version of whatever your trying to shift too, cause it makes it easier for your brain to understand it.

Also, some important notes, when you finally shifted for the first time. Do not try and do anything crazy, the best way to stay in that state is to look at your hands and feet, it makes your brain more aware of your surroundings and kinda like, stabilize you? Cause its very easy to fall out of it. I wouldn't try to like leave the room or anything till you've done it a few times successfully. Also, you have to believe in it all the way. Convince yourself it'll work. I tried a few days before my successful shift and I was like 'oh what if it doesnt work' or 'I hope it works' but it didnt, it only started working when i convinced myself it was gonna work no matter what. Also these might seem counterintuitive, but dont listen to those guided shifting videos and stuff, it makes your brain too focused on the real world instead of your script. If you want to listen to something I only recommend calming music without any lyrics.

Warning tho, I dont know how to get out of it on purpose, I only was able to get out of it by getting scared and waking up on accident. It's probably not hard tho

Good luck guys! Im gonna keep practicing this method cause its the only one that worked for me, and ill add updates later!

So im doing a shigaraki cosplay at fan expo soon and if you know who that is then you know he has some pretty significant scaring and stuff so I was planning on using makeup.

Ive practiced and I like how it looks but the problem is that I sweat a lot and it makes the makeup fade really fast, and I dont wanna have to keep reapplying it at the con.

Also I never do makeup irl so im not good with it, how do I keep it from fading and like, melting??
