Found some colored prescription contacts I like. Trying to decide if the blue or the green looks best with the yellow for Catra. I’m leaning towards the green but idk if it’s too similar in tone with the yellow. What do you think?

I did also find some cat eye contacts, but they’re not prescription. I could take my glasses off for photos but 1 I feel like I’d keep forgetting and 2 I am basically blind without my glasses so I’d probably look like I’m staring into space in photos lol.

As seen, this is my first time ever trying make up for cosplay. I am wanting to ask how can I add staples to my Dabi cosplay and I was hoping to get some suggestions also on what make up or eyeliner product I can use that will paint silver on the purple makeup(I am using Mehron Purple Orchard). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated I got hella bullied on TikTok for not wearing the wig😂 I definitely got it ordered and for the next con I go to I will fix all of the little details I missed this time around

Me and my sibling are going as Hunk and Pidge from Voltron. I’m super excited for this little local con we’re going to, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what kind of shirt this is. I’ve looked at all kinds of shirt with different collars but none of them look like this.

Does this kind of collar even exist irl?

How do i make fake biceps for a short sleeved compression shirt character? I am planning to cosplay the shinjuku showdown gojo satoru in his short sleeved compression, but i do not have the bicep size that he does. I am currently searching for a solution that doesn't require a body suit, does anyone know how I can solve this?

P.S i have also seen some people use some sort of fake silicone bicep and stick it on their own bicep, don't know what the name for this is either.

Hello, I am recently new cosplayer, or rather that's my new hobby.
I ordered few outfits from China (local is too expensive) using my measurements and received them. Usually everything is fine. New outfit that I received has correct arm lenght, but the moment I raise my arm I feel stiffness in my back. I feel like It's related to the way line goes near the armpit.

Is this a common issue? (I am not used to explaining measurements and issues I have in english, it's not my native language)

not cosplay - but figured the outfit would many be found in cosplay communities because of the style - this is what I want to where to prom, but I'm having trouble finding a too and vast that matches this - especially the sleeves - I'm planning on doing it as a black shirt - though I might switch that to white depending on what is closest - and I want to add either purple or red accents to it with things like an arm band or glasses chains - but everything I was finding either don't have the correct sleeves or the vest is just a smooth fabric on the backside of the best that doesn't match the front which I don't like - I'd like to keep the cost as low as I can, but i might be able to get some wiggle room there (like maybe an average of $40 each?) I already got some pants to go with it some I'm fine there, just need the too

So i got this Ruby Hoshino wig too early and i needed to wear it next month. I stored it like this so idk if its fine... if I try to put it back in the bag id needa detangle it again... anyways..

i tried to test it out so I had to pull it out of the bag and trim the bangs a lil. I kinda brush it off a lot and alot of hair fell and I was panicking kinda LOL. I took all of the rubber bands originally meant for the side pigtail hair (but theres a clip on pigtail) so I could brush it easily and it knotted a little but I managed to salvage it (the corners are a bit poofy but it looks fine now.) I plan to just clip the pigtail at the side to act as the clip to pull the hair like how the rubber band originally did rather than tie it up like how most tutorial i've seen cuz whenever I tie the side the wig just knots again and it got me a overstimulated as ive been brushing the hair for almost 6 hours. Im a bit worried because it looks tangled as whenever I look at wig styling stuff the hair looks smooth and theres no fly away strands of hair😭😭 I wanna ask if thats normal or should I try fixing it by brushing it off again?

I've been trying to brainstorm ideas for it but I keep getting stuck. Im still quite new to cosplaying and dont know many wig techniques or materials. Does anyone know if its possible to achieve this look? Ive seen some people will make this as a solid hard 'sculpture' instead of a wig but id love for it to also be a bit flowy like in game 💔

I know Its probably not possible, but even so any ideas, inspo and suggestions are rlly appreciated.

Hii! I plan to cosplay Shizuku-Tan from My Dress Up Darling. I’m pretty new to cosplay and only have done one in the past. I don’t own a crimper, but I was wondering if I needed one for her type of hair. It’s short and pretty straight. I heard crimpers really help dealing with cosplay wigs. Thanks!

Hey all!

I am sewing Odette from the Swan Princess. I have my bodice draft done, and my sleeve draft done.

My plan was to add an elastic strap to the bodice to set the sleeve into around the shoulder, and hand-sew the bottom (armpit) of the sleeve directly to my bodice.

However, as you can see from my photos - the sleeve pattern doesn't extend far enough! (Pink lines are where I want to attach the sleeve)

My question is: how do I modify my sleeve cap so I can attach the two pieces? Just add 3 inches to the armpit and sleeve cap?

so ive been planninh on making my first full (semi?) self made cosplay. its inspired by a figure i have from a few figures I collect. I've been working on the crown and the horns, and im waiting to get the clothes I ordered to put together the fit.

I cant for the life of me figure out how or what the veil is beneath the crown and how I'd sow it. I bought a fabric closely in match with the way it looks on the figure but im not sure how to do the whole thing.

Just wondering what the name of the hat is and where I can find one. Hoping to cosplay this character!

Does anyone know where I can find a suitable wig for Portia? I bought a low quality wig from amazon for the first time I cosplayed her, but I want to buy a better one. I have scoured almost every cosplay and wig website I know of and have not found a suitable wig. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't even attempt to style the one I bought

Im trying to find something that sounds like his helmet but so far ive found next to zilch, any help/suggestions would be appreciated : ).

Any tips or pointers on how to get the jacket and such? I'm mostly aiming for the look he had when he was with the Old Man and then at Elizabeth's wedding. Not really going to go with the fur hoodie as I'm going to a summer convention and I'm not interested in lugging that thing around if it's 80+ degrees out or something lol. Thanks in advance!

I just bought fabric to make the dress and I’m sitting with a hope and a dream. I can’t seem to find any dresses or patterns that are similar to what I’m going for and it’s my first time sewing so I don’t want to wing it fully😓.

Does anyone have ideas on what the easiest way to go about creating the dress would be? Or any patterns for similar dresses?
