Had a pretty sick run that included qualifying from that Sunday AIOF freeroll and then absolutely sun running the $11 it feeds into from start to finish. The final $95 I ran so pure and never got called by anything
Won a bunch of underpair vs overcard type all ins and was right around the bubble as it got to 30ish people with 8 packages remaining
I genuinely dont think I got QQ+ or AK a single time in the last half of this tourney, but every single time I shoved stuff like KTo or 66 or A9o it just got through. We were down to 10 and everyone had crazy equal stacks so youre hugely incentived to avoid a conflict or flip, but that also involves your opponents playing well and not getting into a Mutually Assured Destruction spot
Sometimes variance is getting top 5% hands more than you should and sometimes variance is winning with all your mediocre cards apparently
I did have one hand with about 25 left where a short stack off 6 bbs shoved KTo from the LJ, I rejammed off 15 bbs from CO with 99 and SB ships it with his 17 bb stack with AQs
Flop was AJ3, turn 9, river Q 🤣 so it was a rollercoaster hand where I went from being basically dead, to having like 93% equity in a spot that woulda all but guaranteed me the win, to barely chipping up
