Went outside today with me , came in and has been pawing his left eye all day to the point of his panting non-stop since 2pm. His left eye is swollen. I'm I an extremely rural part of Tennessee but when I called a local vet he told me to give him some benadryl to see if it would help. It hasn't. There is no cut, he wasn't exposed to any chemicals. The vet said it would "likely pass" (the swelling) but it's so hard watching him pant like crazy.
He's not on any medication.
