White Paint Incident at 76
Was driving on the 76 approaching the art museum and got sprayed by white paint coming from the left side of the highway. This happened on 5/16, 8:34 am. Paint is very difficult to remove from the car. Not sure if it came from a construction vehicle or someone was deciding to be funny. Careful driving out there folks.

# 4PHILLY.NET — one unified Philadelphia property record
Type any address or OPA number. Get business licenses, open violations, violation history, and 311 complaints — pulled live from the city's own data.
**The trick:** every data point is pulled from *both* Eclipse (the authoritative L&I backend behind li.phila.gov) *and* Carto (the historical mirror at phl.carto.com). When they disagree, 4PHILLY flags it. Eclipse always wins.
This matters because the two drift. License expirations, status changes, and new complaints appear in Eclipse before — sometimes long before — Carto catches up. A landlord can be operating on an expired license while the public open-data feed still shows **Active**. 4PHILLY catches that.

youtube.comQuestion for pharmacists, oncologists, or anyone I guess...
A couple months ago, my dad was prescribed a "chemo pill" (gross oversimplification, I know) called Stivarga. Even after insurance, it was a $2,100 copay. We raised the money and bought it for him but unfortunately my dad got sick and passed away before we he was able to begin taking it. I am still in possession of a month's supply of this pill, completely unopened from the pharmacy with all of the accompanying paperwork. I know that if I give it to a pharmacy they will have to destroy it. Does anyone know of any "grey market" organizations that might be able to help me get this extremely expensive medication to someone who could use it? Feel free to send me a DM instead of responding here. Thanks so much.

Ideas for protecting plants
I am so close to a cucumber crash out. I live in a South Philly row home with a back patio. My small herb and veggie garden is one of the final joys remaining for me in these trying times. Every night it is ravaged by critters and was all but destroyed this morning. I have tried a large mesh crop cage over the whole garden, small metal cages over individual plants, and rosemary/cinnamon sprays. I’ve looked into the motion sensor ultrasonic things but I feel that would upset neighborhood pets. I don’t want to kill or harm the critters, just deter them. Any other ideas? Please help save my cucumbers.
Anyone know of a piano that is available for public use?
I am in West Philly for the summer and am hoping to find a piano to play on so I don't forget the pieces I just learned. Any tips would be much appreciated.

Rain harvesting in a row house?
Committed gardener considering downsizing in from the 'burbs to a small rowhouse in the city. In my current detached single family home I'm now able to modify downspouts to divert rainwater into barrels. However it seems like it would be disallowed to cut into a downspout shared between two rowhouses. This is a photo of the front, downspout marked in red--I assume because the roof slopes in both directions that there's an identical one on the back. Looks like these downspouts go directly into the ground. Is the water sent directly into the storm drain system?
Fan Fest info session
I attended the online info session last night. If you live in the affected area ((parts of Brewerytown and Fairmount) apply for your deee residential parking passes and your guest passes now. Your regular parking permit won’t keep you from getting towed. Also Uber and Lyft can’t pick up or drop off in the area. SEPTA buses ((32, 48) are to be increased but Lemon Hill Drive, Sedgely, (and part of Poplar apparently) are closed to vehicle traffic. Prep starts May 26 and the festival starts June 11 until mid July.
Business owners can get 10 passes.

Temp agencies for scientists/lab jobs?
I have been unemployed since August and I'm desperate at this point. I have a BS in Biology and 4 years lab experience working in microbiology and molecular biology. I have an MS in Statistics and 2 years experience working as a statistician. Does anyone know any temp agencies for scientists that will get me work? I can't keep interviewing and getting rejected. I have so many applicable skills and need to get back to work.
