Is being a staff nurse really that hard? :’) And is it true na wala talagang work-life balance?

  1. Ask ko lang, worth it ba mag staff nurse kahit mas toxic? May work-life balance pa ba?

Plano ko lang mag-work for 1 year, kaya gusto ko sana maging worth it. Also I have no plans going abroad

Val Citicare Medical Center & Chinese Gen Hospital

Hello fellow nurses! 💉

Has anyone here worked at Valenzuela Citicare or Chinese General Hospital before? Kumusta po ang experience ninyo overall?

I’d really appreciate any insights about the working environment, workload, and management. Okay ba ang workmates and teamwork? Supportive ba ang seniors and staff?

Also, I wanted to ask if okay naman po ang salary system—on time ba magpasahod or may delays?

Any feedback or advice would be a big help. Thank you so much! 🤍

New RN: Accept a secured nurse job or wait for better hospital opportunities?

I recently got a job offer as a company nurse with a P30k salary, but after computing my daily transpo + food expenses, parang P21k na lang matitira sakin (malayo din kase yung lugar).

I accepted it, but after I accepted it, hours later 3 hospitals messaged me for an interview

Kaya at the same time, I have upcoming opportunities:

  • Final interview sa private tertiary hospital (P25k), pero when I computed my monthly expenses, around P21k na lang din matitira pero 1 ride lang samin
  • Another well-known tertiary hospital (P23k), pero mas malaki expenses ko so around P17k na lang matitira monthly
  • Government Nurse I exam/interview (P42k + benefits)

Problem is lahat sila scheduled on the same date, so nagkaka-conflict na

I'm torn if I should go for the sure job offer or take the risk and attend these hospital opportunities.

Also, nahihiya din ako dun sa company since they’ve been generous to me and trusted me with the position, knowing that I’m still a fresh grad

Any advice, especially from nurses, would really help 🙏🏻🙏🏻
