Due to his immense popularity, in order to have any semblance to normalcy, the King would sleep all day and stay up all night. Shopping centers, car dealerships, movie theaters, and even complete amusement parks would open up at midnight / 1am and stay open all night for the King and his entourage. In fact, the last picture ever taken of Elvis (included here) was snapped in the early hours of August 16th, 1977. The King was returning from an 11pm dentist appointment..
