What Changes Should Gully Make for Game 2?
Here's the thing IMO: I sensed early in the game that the Stars we playing to 'let the game come to them', whereas the Wild were in 'shove it down their throat mode' from the 1st face-off. The game the Wild brought last night is what they will bring on Monday...High Pressure all over the ice is what I saw as they seem to have decided that the Stars are weak when constantly stressed and don't have the speed/skill/competiveness to overcome that style of play from the Wild. This coupled with the speed and high-end skill that the Wild possess was pretty much the same approach(less overt instigating as it wasn't necessary) as the 4/9 game (that I attended) that the Stars won due to bad late goaltending from Gus.... What should gully change in Game 2 to overcome what the Wild rolled out in Game 1.

Woke up to this nice reminder this morning.
To say last night was embarrassing, is an understatement. But we’ve been here before. I hope the boys show up righteously pissed Monday night 💪🏼
Still relevant
At least we know the Stars can come back from being down 0-1
Roster moves: Dallas Stars recall Ben Kraws from Texas Stars on emergency conditions
Pulled from their Facebook.
-3.65 goals saved above expected for Otter tonight
Why is it impossible to have an actual discussion about his dismal play at times this year. He used to be one of the better goalies in terms of consistency but this year he’s had soooo many games where I see him going heavily negative with this statistic, so why does he get so much leeway in the fanbase? I see so many people constantly complain about various players, usually Harley, Duchene, Benn etc and that’s perfectly fine but the second you point out that the actual statistics bare out that Otter has been sporadic at the very best this season, you’re downvoted or outright flamed. I don’t get it. Watch any cup run for different teams, the goalie is constantly bailing his team out, because that’s what it takes. For instance Wallstedt tonight. Stopped it from getting to 4-2 and potentially the Stars making a game of it. Seems like weird hypocrisy because PDB (wrongfully, btw) was mean to a 26 year old man who makes 8 million a year.
Jason Robertson gets the Stars on the board
Myers needs to go...
Guy is a huge liability...stopped watching tonight after we went down 3-0 but ever since we picked him up he just seems so lost out there. Also constantly is turning the puck over or taking stupid penalties.
We got spanked last night.... note: RETURN TO SENDER TOMORROW PLEASE.
Tough game to watch, but I was so excited to get this Casey DeSmith game used stick tonight!
Yes, I bought this Casey DeSmith stick from the aac when we were leaving. I love Casey and as soon as I saw it walking by, I knew i had to have it! I guess going to the game tonight wasnt a total loss!
Trade aftermath
Think it worked for both teams. Stankoven doing well for Carolina and Borque coming along this season
With the series beginning tonight, what's your favorite moment against the Wild?
You guys might appreciate…
Cedar Park Stars auctioned off their 3rd/ Dark Mode sweaters tonight. Ended up with Dilly for the wife (she’s just a big Hryckowian fan, and we have Ritzy’s All Star sweater from last year) and I got Texas Stars Legend Nathan Bastian. He wore this for a single game in which he had shootout winner.
AND they’ve been washed already!

Opposing Team Foundation Donations
I think for the past 2-3 seasons, as a community we have come together to support an opposing playoff teams (or player) foundation just due to life circumstances at the time. In some cases this resulted in the opposing teams fan base to "compete" and donate to the Star foundation. I think each time it happened, it was a powerful symbolic gesture that shows the sport is bigger than just the game.
What is our communities thoughts on doing this at the end of every series (win or lose) this year?
