So I'm a 26yo guy. Life's fairly good for me. I have a woman I love, a job that pays well and a reliable car. But I cant help feeling stuck all the time. Like I've reached a dead end.

While my job may be good I absolutely hate it. I work 12-16 hour continental shifts. While yes, it pays close to $70,000/yr I have no time to enjoy life anymore. I've looked for new careers but the state of the world and the economy is terrible. There's always the risk of me getting injured or not coming home from a shift. I've also been dealing with workers comp lately as I was injured pretty bad on the job and there they are, not Listening to my doctors and trying to force me back to work even though I'm not fit for duty. Its gotten to the point they're threatening to cut off benefits. All these places want something for nothing.

My family treats me like their own personal cash flow or chaeffuer always asking me to lend them money or drive them around. I have an amazing woman that I love with my whole heart. But at the same time she doesn't have the same motivation for life I do. She's content waking up daily and going to work and relaxing at home on the weekends. I miss the days I used to camp, hike and travel all on a whim, I would disappear out into the woods or a new part of the world without so much as a phone call. And she's ready to settle down.

I have a reliable car that's good on gas, a family car. Something I thought was the right choice, something that allowed me to settle down and think about having kids. At the same time I miss my overland rig that I had. A lifted Ram 2500, fully decked out and ready for any terrain.

Most people I know say my life is perfect, and maybe it is. Maybe I life the ideal life for someone my age. But I feel so stuck, like I'm in a revolving door that leads absolutely no where. I'd love to move to somewhere new, somewhere beautiful, somewhere that doesn't look like another cog in the machine but that's not an option. I've gotten to the point I don't know what to do. I've sunken so deep that I hate everyone and everything. I just want to scream

26M. I love the outdoors. Hiking, fishing, swimming, camping, etc. I also love to game and read. I don't have many friends so I'm looking for someone I can have some good conversations with or just rant about life. I may be quiet sometimes as I'm pretty busy but feel free to hit me up and say hi!
