I’m not sure if this is just an American thing or if it’s generally something people have started doing in the UK too, I started seeing my MUA posting thank you cards/gifts on her insta and realised it would probably be nice to do the same.

I was thinking on just a card and box of chocolates for my MUA, hairdresser, photographer, coordinator and caterers, but not bothering with the ones that will only be there for a couple of hours, e.g harpist, singer. Does this sound about right? I know the best gift would be a good review which I’ll definitely do as well!

So my best friend (male) is being a ‘bridesman’- essentially we’ll be buying him a suit that goes with (but doesn’t match) the colour of the other 2 bridesmaid dresses, and his tie and pocket square will be the same colour and material as the dresses (satin forest green). We were thinking of a stone coloured linen suit.

We then have the groom and best man- should we try and coordinate their colours with the bridesmaid’s suit or just leave it as 2 totally separate things? Also, I’ve only ever been to one wedding before and my fiancé is not good at planning details- should the grooms suit and the best man suit match, or just compliment each other?

Now that we’re 2 months out I have to start figuring out all these seemingly tiny details I never thought of before and it’s blowing my mind! I’m ultimately not too fussed as I just want them all to be wearing clothes they actually like, but I don’t want it to look like a big mess in the pics!
