Hellloooo, I’m from Texas and I’m looking to just chat with whoever from wherever. I like writing, reading and listening to music. I play guitar and was even in a couple of bands back in the day. I moved out of my childhood home to an apartment with my now fiancé a year ago. I have a dog and so does she, most apartments that would allow my dog at her size were also limited to two pets.

So it was my dog and my fiancés dog that we decided to move into the apartment.

Unfortunately I had to leave my childhood cat there at the house with my mother. She agreed to take care of her and I also planned to stop by at the house every once and awhile and hang out with her, feed her, change her kitty litter.

My mom wanted multiple times to put her outside or give her to one of her coworkers to which I considered but wasn’t fond of the idea, she would eventually let it go and decide to keep my cat there at the house.

Fast forward to this past weekend, we had a small family getaway for the weekend and when we came back home on Sunday I found all of my cat’s stuff in the backyard. My mom comes outside and says “You can probably tell what I did.” And I was like what?

She then tells me she put my cat in the backyard a few days ago and hasn’t seen her since, mind you my cat is 12 years old and has always been an indoor cat. Now we have not seen her, but her food and water bowls have been emptying over night. No idea if it is even her that is eating the food. Considering staying the night and seeing if she turns up at her food.

I’m so pissed right now and disappointed, I can’t even bear to talk to my mom right now. AIO?
