We added the ticket link for anyone asking about this one.

Photo City Presents is bringing a full Silent Disco night to Funk ’n Waffles in downtown Syracuse on Saturday, May 23rd.

The setup is honestly pretty simple and way more fun than people expect the first time they do it. Everybody gets wireless headphones and you can switch between 3 live DJ channels all night depending on what mood you’re in.

🔴 Red Channel — 80s + 90s throwbacks
🟢 Green Channel — early 2000s music
🔵 Blue Channel — late 2000s + current hits

So one minute somebody next to you is screaming Kelly Clarkson while another person is dancing to Blink-182 and someone else is fully locked into 90s club music. It becomes absolute chaos in the best way possible.

DJs for the night are DJ Amped, DJ Cmelz, and DJ 6arry.

Doors are at 7pm

Trying to make this feel more like an actual fun night out and less like standing around at a normal bar pretending to have a good time. Bring friends. Bring bad dance moves. Nobody can hear you sing anyway.

Caught this moment from Rust and Ruin Festival in Syracuse where Normundy covered Bleed It Out and it hit exactly how you would want it to

For anyone who grew up on Linkin Park you already know this song is built for live energy. It was one of their go to set closers because of how easy it is for a whole crowd to jump in and lose it together

Hearing it in a room like The Lost Horizon with a packed crowd just felt right. No big production no tricks just people yelling it back and a band going all in

This is exactly the kind of moment we try to create with these shows

If you are into this kind of thing follow Matt Carter Presents on Facebook and Instagram
We are a DIY promotion with zero ad budget so everything grows through word of mouth and people actually showing up

More shows like this are coming and we are just getting started

If you are anywhere near Syracuse today this is an easy call

Rust and Ruin Festival is happening at The Lost Horizon and it is a full day of bands on one stage so you can just pull up and stay there all day

Good mix of styles across the lineup so it does not feel repetitive and there is a strong chance you end up catching a set you did not expect to like

Lineup is

Saving Vice

Normundy

Who They Fear

Murder In Rue Morgue

Losers Club

Blood Desecration

Promises Unsaid

Tim The Truth

DramaScream

Arcana

No Take Backs

Hook

Doors are at noon and music starts at 1

There are food trucks and vendors on site so you are covered if you plan on sticking around

If you have been thinking about going this is the day to just do it and show up early

Should be a really solid turnout and a good look for the scene
