Looking for advice career wise.

I’m looking for career advice and honestly don’t know where to begin. I’m turning 31, and I’m not making $50,000–$60,000 a year.

I welcomed a new baby last year and my baby is almost a year old now. I want to build a stable career so I can provide a better life for my little one, including good school districts whenever we move, safe neighborhoods, and extracurricular opportunities to help my baby grow and develop.

Most of my work experience has been in customer service and administrative roles, but I’ve never earned more than about $45,000 a year before bonuses. In the past, people would tell me I was “lucky” to even make that much without a college degree and have a GED, and that I should just stay with my insurance job and continue moving around within the company.

Later on, I found out that I have ADHD, which explained why college was always such a struggle for me despite multiple attempts.

Now that I finally understand the issue, I’ve been considering going back to school in August for a vocational program in Electrocardiography Technology. I’m hoping it could help me build a career from there, but I’m still unsure because of my work history and past experiences with school.

I can’t help but feel behind compared to most people my age especially reading comments in this sub or reading elsewhere on Reddit.

I need money but I don’t have any to buy a cheap cell phone to go back to work, I work remotely and need it for authentication. My cell phone screen is broken and it’s in delivery limbo.

I’m considering pawning my PS5 and Nintendo switch but my partner doesn’t like that because there are digital games on the devices. But I need a cheap Verizon compatible cell phone by Monday.. I already missed two days of work. I can’t pawn my iPad because it’s only method of communication.

He said pawning is really crazy and doesn’t understand it.

I can’t lose this job because I wont have money to take care of my partner and baby, pay rent. I already lost my second job trying to move to be closer to our families for better resources. I’m trying to find another so they don’t go without much.

I’m the breadwinner in my family my partner doesn’t work, he isn’t able to interview due to social anxiety and we share a 9 month old son. He doesn’t like me because I’m stressing him out I lost 1 out of 2 jobs yesterday because this move to be closer to family was a huge setback. Now I’m down to one and things are going to be tight and I’m scared.

I wanted to take my ow life because if I did that then my son gets survivors benefits he wouldn’t be left without anything, the lease could be broken and get out of this.

my body wouldn’t do it, now I’m filled with anxiety because my body wouldn’t and I’m scared financially.

I can’t even think straight and I just have my boyfriend giving me the stink eye for disrupting his life and doesn’t want to hear my woes, he’s avoiding me from the other side of the apartment. I’m supposed to take care of him and our baby and I’m breaking down.

I’m such a failure.

I am needing advice on where to start.

I'm 308 pounds possibly 5'2 or 5'3

I don't know where to stay? I heard since I have been overweight for so long that I should see a doctor first but my doctor said to start with a nutritionist and that's it. So I'm taking that as a green flag that I can just hop into it.

I'm thinking I should start with my diet first and work myself into being physical, I don't get enough calories as my doctor said so my weight is sticking due to that, I have gall bladder issues so I'm often nervous to eat to avoid a gall bladder attack.

My physical is very bad, no stamina I'm struggling going up stairs and getting out of bed without doing some sort of maneuver to make it possible.

The options of weight loss YouTubers is abundant so not sure who to go for. I'm in a new city, new apartment so right I feel capable and motivated to get it together especially as my son gets more active.
