Hey guys, just wanted to share an update on my app RaceTools. I try not to spam about it too much but 2.2 is a big one. I know this community runs a lot of E85 so wanted to share this here.
Some backstory. I had a 340i on a custom tune and a G82 M4 on a JB4, both running E85, and the whole process of managing fuel was a pain. Calculating my mix, finding stations, keeping track of what I'd done to the car. Nothing out there did all of it so I just started building something myself.
Six years later here we are. Just pushed 2.2 which is the update I've been working toward for a while.
Biggest thing is Route Planner. You type in where you're going and it shows you every E85 station along the route. I've driven New York to California probably 15 times running E85 and every single time it was the same thing. Manually checking stations before I left, hoping I didn't miss one, doing the math in my head on whether I'd make it to the next one. Route Planner fixes all of that. Tested Austin to Dallas and came back with 71 stations. Wish I had this years ago on those trips.
The rest of it, ethanol calculator, E85 locator with CarPlay support, car build tracker for logging mods and costs are all still there and still getting better.
Also opened up France this update. E85 is cheap and widely available there and nobody had built anything for those drivers. Seemed like the right move.
