I see everyone talking about mocks, rightfully so but I'm curious, is there anyone who hasn't given any mocks ? And why ?

We were together for 4 years. The relationship was and is still out of those cliche romcom movies. It was the best. She was my best friend. We both are compatible in every aspect humanely possible. It's like a fairy tale.

Unfortunately, we had to break up. We were in a LDR for two years. The reason is not the LDR itself. It's just, with our career choices...there was no end date to ending the distance. We calculated all the scenarios..best case scenarios and worst case scenarios in our professional life. The only age where we'd be able to finally start our life living together would be in our 40s. We are 27 right now.

We are not sure if things would go just as smoothly after that as well. There's actually no solution that doesn't make either one of us not compromise the major aspect of our lives. We already have been missing out on so many experiences.

It's so heartbreaking to let go of this amazing person and relationship that happens once in a lifetime not bcoz of cheating, lack of love...or something external.

I hate how our final act of love is to let go of each other for each other.
