Game room layout - Need help/design/concepts

Hey all,

First off huge respect for the setups in this sub, they're what got me thinking bigger about my own space.

I'm looking for layout advice (and any concepts you'd throw at it) for the remaining area of our basement. The cinema and guest apartment are already done — what's left is the open zone you can see in the plan from our interior designer.

I've tagged the spot where I'm picturing the music corner (drums, a couple of bass guitars — great way to mess around with the kids).

The rest needs to fit:

- A sim / piloting rig with VR

- A gaming PC setup (desk, monitor)

- A TV + couch lounge area

I know it's a lot to cram in, which is exactly why I'd love a second pair of eyes before we commit. Open to anything — zoning ideas, furniture suggestions, mistakes to avoid, whatever you've got.

Current designer plan, she doesn't understand the concept of a gaming room

Thanks!

Upgrade 5090 build - Case and fan configuration

Hello,

I just splurged and bought a 5090 Ventus 3X. I also bought the 1200W necessary PSU with it.

I already own an i9 based build, with 32g of DDR5 and an M2 SSD with a big cooler master closed case. It was my base for an RTX 3090 TI. Also have a MAG core liquid for the CPU cooling.

For this build, I want to display the PC as a decoration in the game room I'm building, so RGB and so on.

I went for this case : HS420 VGPU

But I'm quite confused around the fans and how many are there, I also saw that the price was 30$ per fan, which is not something I was expecting.

Any advice here for making this look the best it can be given it's an upgrade.

Thanks !
