A 2000VA/1800W UPS is giving only 20 seconds of backup time for an RTX 3080 Ti gaming PC.

My specs: RTX 3080 Ti/i5 12400f/32gb DDR4 RAM/4k 27-inch monitor

Hi there, I bought a 2000VA UPS a couple of weeks ago, and it works as intended. It gives me 35 minutes of backup time for light tasks such as web browsing/YouTube watching.

However, while playing this game, Total War: Warhammer 3, with 4K high graphics settings, the UPS provides less than 20 seconds of backup time to close the game immediately; otherwise, the computer shuts down due to UPS battery overload. (Red light warning)

And yes, the first thought that came to my head was that the UPS is faulty, so I checked its capabilities with more games, and I'm confused! There is no problem with any other game, such as Far Cry 6, Forza Horizon 5, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Fallout 4, etc. When I played those games with 4K max settings, UPS reliably provides 4-5 minutes of backup time to safely shut down the PC.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on with my UPS and this one particular game? Total War: Warhammer 3?

Thank you for any helpful suggestion.

I understand it's a laggy device for basically everything, but is it enough as a secondary mobile to use solely for PC USB tethering purposes (sharing internet with the computer) and to use the Steam Guard app? (That's all I'm going to do with this device.)

I have a decent Android device to watch YouTube, play games, and such, but it no longer receives security patches, so it's not ideal for Steam Guard and other important tasks.

I am trying to buy the cheapest possible phone because I also want to purchase a good pair of headphones for music. I'll upgrade to a good phone after 2027.

Thank you for any helpful advice.
