Welp welp
My date and I have been seeing each other for three months now. We are exclusive (per his words) and we do everything a "normal" same-sex couple does. However, when I brought up the idea of making it official, he told me he’s worried I might "change" once we have the label.
I feel like I’m the one putting in the majority of the effort, I’m the one courting him. While he does occasionally cook for me, i somehow don't feel secure in the relationship. I’ve even introduced him to my friends, but the lack of commitment is wearing on me.
I’ve set a personal deadline for the end of this month. If things don’t progress by then, I’m planning to stop pursuing him. Am I overthinking this, or is "you might change" just a convenient excuse to avoid commitment?
