Learning how to accommodate some curve/softness!!

Im so happy! The other day, the pink outfit was kind of the best I could figure out for myself-- boxy t shirt, straight, high-waisted jeans without stretch. But I found the pants in slide 2 at the thrift, and took a chance! So today Im wearing a soft, stretchy scoop neck tank top, tucked in these ultra high-waisted, softer, thin corduroy pants and its such a WORLD of difference. For a casual outfit (which I need for running around as a mom) it makes all the difference to accommodate some yin with this softer outfit! Im just really happy about this. Even though Im not super obviously "curvy" I can see now how important its going to be for me to accommodate my actual lines, and bring more emphasis to my waist! Id been feeling kinda lanky and not "feminine" but people here have been helping me to see that Im really not that "yang" after all, despite looking kinda tall in photos (Im just over 5'5"). So yeah! It is just such a nice feeling to be actually comfortable in a casual outfit haha 😊 thank you for reading!

Pretty much just the title haha! :) If you dont have automatic vertical, but you're a little tall to be petite or have double-curve, and youre also not particularly moderate, or lush, or sharp, and you dont have Kibbe width...what do? Thanks lol! :)

IRTG

I've been trying out all sorts of different looks! I started off with my personal favorite, heeled boots included, and then show how it looks with no shoes. I've learned a TON so far about my body and am feeling more positive now than ever before about my frame/shape.

I am 5'5" but dont have softness in the typical "curvy" places, so I've never felt especially feminine. But I feel like Im seeing the light now. I realized I DONT like a ton of extra fabric on me, I dont like just-above-the-knee, I dont like anything that severely breaks or interrupts my vertical line.

My shoulders are roughly exactly above my hip bones, I get no "yin flesh" in that hip area, its really just a zig-zag looking line (highlighted most by that stretchy knit skirt lol) so it can "look" kinda curvy but I much prefer structured fabric, it turns out. I've been getting feedback that I have some yin influence of some kind but my favorite looks on myself so far are pure, simple uninterrupted vertical, to he honest haha😊but Im open minded and not attached to any one specific ID just yet!! I understand that this is a DIY system but have loved the process of brainstorming with others too, as I am still just learning about all this💚

Thank you all for reading and your help! ❤️💖

Im loving this look but also want to be real LOL Does my frame have the vertical to handle this look? Sorry for poor lighting and photo quality in the 2nd slide, its the only place in the house I can get a full length photo lol. Thank you!!💚
