I want to put a power supply in my product that can be charged. However I have never been great at electrical engineering (I‘m an Aerospace Engineer for background information), and qualifying a self made solution seems like a nightmare. Is there a more or less ready to use solution for this? What are you guys using? If I have to do it myself in the end can you recommend any books about this?

Edit: This is only used to power a small LED light.

So preferred would be using 20mA 5V LED with a battery of around 2000mAh.

Is there a more or less ready to use solution for this like an already assembled unit but without housing etc? What are you guys using? I want to use some 5mm LEDs inside metall sockets, their light is however rather focused and its blinding. So i want to put a scatter lens onto them but I don´t know how and I dont find any options for this. Basically I want to build something like this:

Before you ask, this one is too long I can´t just buy it. I already have the metal sokcet but I don´t know what to use as a lens.
