I remember seeing someone online who makes custom “book” style boxes/storage for board games instead of keeping the original board game boxes.
Does anyone know his @ or where I can find his work?
Also, I’m curious: would you prefer something more original and custom like that for your games, or do you think the original board game box is still the best option? I feel like custom storage can look really cool on a shelf, but at the same time there’s something nice about keeping the original artwork and box design. Curious what people here think.
I love discovering new games, but I’ve noticed that not everyone in my group is as excited about learning new rules or trying unfamiliar mechanics. Sometimes they just default to the same few games we always play.

Hi everyone! 🐾I hope this is okay to share here. I wanted to post a small announcement about a board game I created with a friend, inspired by one very simple truth: cats and food are a dangerous combination.
In the game, every player becomes a mischievous cat trying to steal food from the table. It’s a chaotic little dexterity game with unique cards, silly moments, and a lot of “please don’t knock that over” energy.
We launched it on Kickstarter yesterday, and as a tiny indie team, this campaign is our real chance to bring the game into the world.

Salutare tuturor! 🐱 Sper că este în regulă să postez asta aici. Voiam să împărtășesc un mic anunț despre un joc de societate original, creat de mine împreună cu un prieten. Ideea a pornit de la ceva foarte simplu: iubirea pentru pisici și energia lor haotică atunci când apare mâncarea. Așa că am creat un joc în care fiecare jucător devine o pisică pusă pe furat „mâncarea” de pe masă, folosind dexteritate, timing și cărți speciale care te pot ajuta… sau îi pot încurca serios pe ceilalți jucători.
Am lansat ieri jocul pe Kickstarter, iar pentru noi, ca echipă indie foarte mică, această campanie este practic șansa noastră reală de a aduce jocul la viață.
Nu vreau să pun linkul direct dacă nu este permis, dar dacă este cineva interesat, îl pot lăsa în comentarii sau în privat. De asemenea, jocul poate fi căutat direct pe Kickstarter, numele este Hit and Run.
