I’ve been working on a small indie game called Knight Chase — it’s built around one simple idea:

Every move makes the board smaller.

You only control knights, and every tile you leave gets permanently destroyed.
So each move is not just positioning… it’s also removing future options.

What it feels like:

  • Part chess
  • Part puzzle
  • Part “don’t trap yourself” simulator

Core mechanics:
♞ Move only in L-shapes (like a knight)
❌ Tiles disappear after you leave them
🎯 Win by trapping your opponent or landing on them

There are also rule-breaking power-ups:

  • Move like a rook or bishop
  • Delete areas of the board
  • Teleport across the map
  • Skip your opponent’s turn

They turn the game from pure strategy into controlled chaos.

I tried to keep matches short, tense, and very tactical —
more about positioning and foresight than memorizing openings.

If you like weird twists on classic games, this might be your thing.
