my M23 boyfriend cheat on me (F22) or not?
Hii, my bf (23) and i (F22) have been together since Decemebr 18, 2024.
For context, we met in September 2024, and were in a talking stage, up until in October 2024, We had settled it was an exclusive talking stage, as in no one else, just us two, then made it official on december.
It had an issue with him following these girls he had talking stages with, to which he told me he did. Back last april 2025, i had found out he did not unfollow one of the girls and worked with her.
Turns out, although they did not talk in any other way other than coworkers, my bf started talking to her again after we had said we were exclusive and had admitted to me that he had talked to her a handful of times as she was his backup.
Is this cheating???
Apparently their conversations were nothing but work related, and the interactions were less than a handful. However, he went in with the mindset of not trusting into the relationship fully.
[EDIT] he had a talking stage with the girl, and had told me he had only started speaking to her after we had gotten together, the only reason being is that she was his BACKUP. I also had explained my boundaries with following exes and ex talking stages, to which he promised he unfollowed them, turns out, he had not and lied to me about it
