Best places to live near Città Studi?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking into the best residences near the Leonardo da Vinci campus. I’ve done some research, but I’d love to hear from current or former students.

For context, I’m a female soon-to-be master’s student, and I really value having my own private space. I have a local scholarship that covers accommodation, so budget is not the main issue.

Here are the options I’ve looked into so far:

- Camplus: It looks nice, but I saw that residents are expected to do voluntary work for the community. I’m not a huge fan of that right now, since I expect to be very busy. For those living at Camplus, is it actually a lot?
- Casa dello Studente: It doesn’t seem to offer individual rooms with a private kitchen, and getting a spot also seems quite difficult.
- Torrescalla: Male-only, as far as I know.
- In-Domus Campus Monneret: I actually kind of like this one. It has individual rooms, but it’s located in Lambrate, and I’ve heard mixed opinions about the area. For those living in Lambrate, is it really that bad? I honestly kind of like it.
- Collegiate North and Bovisa: I love them, but why are they so far away? 💀 How do people even get to class on time?

Please share your experiences. I would really appreciate it 🤍
