Does anyone has completed their enrollment payment? I'm a Non-EU applicant, I've tried the online payment several time using debit card method and PayPal, but it hasn't been successful so far. I wonder anyone has the same problem?

International students

Looking through the Goin' app, I noticed that the majority of international students are from India and Pakistan. Why is that? Is it because they are more talented and hardworking, or is it just due to Polimi's long-standing network?

Why the option that says "No, I have never been enrolled" does not appear to me? should i choose the "No, i was enrolled but i'm not currently enrolled..."

the first pic is from my account, the second is from a guide online. and my situation is that I have never been enrolled

Query regarding PoliMi application process

Hi there. I am a student who completed my high school last year and am looking forward to studying in Italy. I am thinking of applying to PoliMi with the SAT, which I took last year. I am confused regarding the application period of PoliMi. I just wanted to know if the application portal for PoliMi is open for the new English taught Bachelor degree programs.

Thanks in advance.

Polimi help

I registered my SAT score and sent it through College Board. Does that mean I have officially applied now, or is there anything else I still need to do?

Polimi Masters Architecture

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice :(
I recently got rejected from Politecnico di Milano for architecture, and I’ve been feeling really discouraged about it. I genuinely thought my portfolio was the best I could do at the time, so I’m struggling to understand where I fell short.

I just wanted to ask:

Is it still possible to get accepted if I reapply next year?

What are the most important things I should improve (portfolio, GPA, etc.)?

Does applying close to the deadline affect chances, or not really?

Do you have any advices what I can do to make my application better?

I’d really appreciate any honest insights or experiences,
especially from those who got in or reapplied successfully. Thank you so much.

About enrollment

I was admitted to the Politecnico di Milano on 11/12/2025 as a graduate student. I would like to know what the next step is. Do I need to complete the enrollment process before 20 May?

If yes, does that mean I need to pay the 880 euro non-refundable enrollment fee before obtaining visa?

Would my current grades give me a realistic shot at being admitted to an undergraduate engineering program at Politecnico di Milano

First time applying to PoliMi as non-EU student, have a few questions about application process

Completely lost with PoliMi application – non-EU applicant, SAT scores, language requirements, and Declaration of Value confusion

Hey everyone, I'm applying to Politecnico di Milano for Industrial Engineering and honestly my head is spinning. I've gone through the application portal and submitted what I could, but there are a few things I genuinely can't figure out and I'm scared I'm missing something critical.

Here's where I'm at:

- I'm a non-EU applicant

- I've submitted my SAT scores (entered them into the system)

- Uploaded my passport and identity documents

- Applied for a scholarship (DSU/PoliMi bursary, I believe)

My main questions:

1. Language requirements – I honestly cannot remember if they asked me for a language certificate anywhere during the application. I speak English, but I'm not sure if I need to upload a TOEFL/IELTS certificate separately, or if my SAT English scores count, or if it's waived because the program is in English. Where exactly do you upload a language document if it's required?

2. Declaration of Value / CIMEA Statement of Comparability – In the enrollment documents section, I left this blank because I have no idea what it is or if I need it at this stage. Did any of you fill this out during the application, or is it something you deal with after getting accepted? Is it even required for everyone?

3. Is there an approval/review process? – After submitting, does the application go into a review queue? I'm not sure if there's supposed to be a confirmation, a status change, or if I just wait. How long does it usually take?

4. How do I know my application is actually complete? – The portal is a bit confusing and I genuinely don't know if I'm done or if I'm missing documents.

If anyone has gone through this recently – especially non-EU applicants applying with SAT scores – I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance 🙏

Query regarding the DOV process

Hi there. I am a student who completed my high school(last year) and am looking forward to studying my Bachelor's degree in Italy. I am based in Bangalore, India. I have a few queries regarding the DOV process. Kindly answer the following questions:

  1. How long does it generally take to get the DOV of my documents done via VFS Bangalore (especially if I apply during May or June)?

  2. What are the documents for which DOV is required?

Thanks in advance.

  1. University of Padua (UniPD) – Information Engineering

◦ I already have an offer for this program.

◦ Information engineering is a super hot, in-demand field right now, with great career prospects.

◦ However, UniPD’s global ranking and name recognition are not as strong as Politecnico di Milano.

  1. Politecnico di Milano (Polimi) – Civil Engineering

◦ Based on past admission data, my grades would only get me into Civil Engineering at Polimi.

◦ Polimi has a way higher global ranking and better international reputation, which is a big plus.

◦ But the program itself is not very promising in terms of career prospects, and I’m not passionate about it.

I’m torn between choosing a top-ranked school with a less-than-ideal major vs. a slightly lower-ranked school with a strong, relevant major.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation, or has experience with either of these programs? Any advice would be much appreciated!
