An essential oil container pulled the finish off of this dresser top. It’s not an old piece - it’s from West Elm - but I figured you might have some advice.

I really don’t want to sand the whole top. Good enough is good enough.

Maybe it’s just shellac that was weakened by alcohol in the essential oil? I can’t really figure out the reaction that damaged the finish.

It definitely removed the topcoat as I can feel the ridges on the lighter areas.

Anyone have any insight on what kind of finish this might be?

We like the looks of the KF8.

Want to be able to switch beans. Mostly hot drinks. Plant based milks are a must since she is lactose intolerant.

I do mostly coffees. She is into lattes and dirty chai.

We like light to medium roasts. She uses the Starbucks Blonde Espresso as her go to. Currently using Nespresso Vertuo. And I do pour overs most of the time.

What does the hive mind recommend?

Recently took my 2024 P2 in for service. The climate system is only blowing cold air while in drive mode. Even if I manually set it to heat only.

When preheating or in park the air coming out of the vents is noticeably warmer.

The service guy said all was well with the system. No error codes. Charge in the heat pump was good.

They said maybe it was a software thing, but I had just gotten the 5.0 update and it’s still acting the same way.

Any thoughts on what might be going on?
