Hi everyone,

I am pregnant again after having a chemical which started at the beginning of this month. I also had an ectopic in November so I’m required to call my doctor to start HCG draws as soon as I test positive. Today I called the doctor and got sent to the nurse line. I’m 10 DPO, literally tested positive this morning. I told the nurse my history and explained that my doctor told me that whenever I test positive again they want to do HCG draws and a 6 week placement scan. Immediately the vibe was off. She asked first day of my missed period after I had JUUUST told her about the chemical so I told her it was 4/4 which was I guess considered CD 1 but it was CP bleeding. So as soon as I tell her that she goes “oh nooo” and I’m like ???? Hello is something wrong?? She’s like ok well that’s not good, idk how you’re pregnant again. So then I’m like um well… I ovulated after the CP and now I’m pregnant like ? Why am I explaining ovulation rn. I also told her to read my chart where my doctor tracked my HCG to zero and also told me I’m safe to try again immediately. She’s then telling me that the CP doesn’t count as a cycle and that I haven’t missed my period. I’m like yeah my period is supposed to start in a few days but I tested with an early response test and got multiple positives and a positive digital. She then starts insinuating that it must be from leftover HcG and that Idk what I’m talking about. She also said “can we just do the draws when your period is supposed to start” and then she was like ugh I guess nvm we can just do it. I called so excited thinking she would say congrats and be sensitive to the fact that I just had two losses but nope she made me feel like I’m stupid and that I don’t know anything.

All this to say, has anyone else gotten pregnant right after a chemical and had a positive outcome? Did you count CD 1 as your first day of CP bleeding?

Positive Test- March 27

March 30- HCG 22

April 1- HCG 23

April 6- HCG 5

April 13- >5

Bleeding started 4/4

Bleeding ended 4/8

Ovulation April 19

Positive Test- April 29, 10 DPO
