Not sure if this is a true positive??? Help! Wife and I are trying to decipher.

I tested this afternoon thinking it would be negative. Does this look like a chemical? I have no idea when I ovulated but my period usually arrives around CD 30. It fluctuates a tiny bit. First Response Early Response is the test I used.

This is the same pregnancy test. i’m not sure if it’s invalid or if it took time. the first pictures was a min after i took the test, the last pictures are from a couple hours later but the same test.

I had weird PMS all week, over a year TTC, I hesitated to take the test as I have irregllar period

Hello! I have my next Beta draw tomorrow, so I took my last test tonight to just see how it was looking. It looks like a slight dye stealer, so I was curious if anyone knows what your HCG was around this stage. I know everyone is different and the lines can’t really tell you your HCG, but I am just curious! My last draw was 4/2 and it was 176.4, so I’m wondering what this could be in the range of haha. Thanks!

Also thought I saw a line on fr and clear blue. idk if I’m just in such disbelief it can happen to me. my eyes are saying like my head is saying no.

Am I seeing things? The last pregnancy I got a BFP 7 days before period. This would be 9 day before period

This line showed up within the time frame. It has gotten pinker and darker as it has dried. Or is it an evap?

I’ve been testing every single day and watching the line get darker, but tonight I finally got a true dye stealer!

I have my first OB appointment this Wednesday. I’ve been so anxious, but seeing this beautiful dark line gives me so much peace of mind.

I (37f) took a clear blue digital and first response at home tests and got a BFP. I just wanted to share because I used to obsess over every single symptom on months where I got a BFN.

My only symptoms leading up to my positive tests were crying over trivial things and sharp cramps above my bladder. Figured I should test because it seemed very odd to be this emotional.

I’m nervous and excited as this is my first ever pregnancy!!

I tested yesterday (afternoon) and this morning and my test line seems to be getting darker, however my wrist temp went right down last night! Does anyone know what could be causing that? Should I be worried?

Please be gentle there’s a lot happening for me right now, and I could really use some guidance or reassurance. This is my first time trying to conceive, my first time tracking ovulation, and my first time taking pregnancy tests. I also have PCOS and had my Mirena removed about 60 days ago after having it for 12 years. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed and unsure what to think. Could this be a chemical pregnancy? Is it possible I was already pregnant when I took these tests? What could my next steps be? It all feels so surreal, and I can hardly believe this might be happening for us.

I’m currently 10 DPO. The first photo was taken about 20 to 30 minutes after testing. I’m not sure what happened with the test strip since it took a long time to dry, so I waited before checking. There’s a noticeable smudge across the strip, but in the first photo you can see a faint pink line within that smudged area.

The second photo was taken about an hour later. The smudge is still there, but you can see a more defined straight pink line.

I understand this could be an evaporation line or a faulty strip, and I know the usual advice is to retest in a couple of days. Still, I can’t help but wonder if this could be something to feel hopeful about. Is it possible that the pink dye from the smudge just settled into the indent, making it look like a positive? I see a clear defined pink line. Initial research says this is unlikely to be an evap line which is usually thin and colorless. Could somebody explain what might have happened here?

I only used one strip since I wasn’t really expecting a positive. I also know 10 DPO can be early, so I’m mostly just curious.
