Hi. Never posted before but very anxious but the fact that my (M31) boyfriend (M26) is planning to move to the USA for work for one year. (we live in UK) the move is happening in about a year and he's planning to live over there for one year ( he already has job offer that covers the visa). I'm a filmmaker still trying to get my foot in doors over here so cannot go and i want to be supportive of him and his dreams but the thought of him moving over there and not seeing him makes me so anxious. the thought of not seeing him for months on end genuinely causes me pain, i hate it. I know i will be miserable and so sad that I can't see him. It's already a bit tough atm cos he's not out to parents so i don't get to see him as freely/openly as we'd like but obv this would be way worse when he moves to US. we've spoken at length about it and he's reassured me a lot about visits and facetimes etc but I'm so anxious about it - that year will be horrible i just know it. I am also worried he may love it there and want to move there permanently. should i end it now? Or give it a go? any advice at all?
