Im in Frankfort, home is about 2700 sq ft. Just trying to plan for the future, what's the going rate on new furnaces and AC units?

My wife has the Chase sapphire preferred and I want to downgrade it, since I already have 1 and I dont want to pay the fee twice.

Can I still downgrade it to the original Chase Freedom card? How do I ask Chase to do this?

And how soon in the futur could I try and re-sign her up for the Chase sapphire preferred again so she could get the sign up bonus again? 4 years after the initial sign up?

After ebay fees and getting a tax form at the end of the year - how much do you net on a sale?

I'm in 22% bracket or so - would i be paying almost 40% in ebay fees and taxes on my sales? From my understanding, you shouldn't deduct any expenses when filing hobby income? I.e. buy a card for $50 and sell for $60, you can't deduct that $50 cost basis to net out to a $10 sale. You get taxed on the $60 sale.

Anybody able to confirm my understanding is correct? Is selling cards in cash the way to go, even getting 70% of ebay comps?
