I am currently in 9th grade, my dad said there will be major consequences if i do bad on my upcoming math test tmr, is this fair?
So the past 2 years of school ive averaged about 55-80 on my math tests, I study try hard, and sometimes the content is pretty hard. I study most nights, and I got a 50% on my algebra test and I got scolded at for getting a bad result and quote on quote my dad said, "I dont care about how much you study, its about the result!" Anyway this might just happen to everyone, I just might be a pussy but I dont think its fair to get beaten or to get yelled at everyday that I need to be better. Like all my dad cares about is my math; even acts like its more important then my mental health. And constantly on every test I am pressured by my dad and it ends up getting in my head and makes me do bad. People in my Math class are like "YES I GOT 62% MY PARENTS ARE GONNA BE SO HAPPY" but if I got that, my dad would be a tad angry. Is this normal?
