Something I just realized,

Hughie always had the most hope in Butcher. Season 4, everyone believes Butcher is a selfish piece of shit, which he is, but Hughie still had some trust in him. Now with season 5, Hughie doesn’t trust Billy at all, and views him the way the other boys do; an amoral, ticking time bomb.
