Random memory I had with my grandma
When I was little, every Sunday, my dad would take our family down to my grandma's house to spend some time with her. At her house, we would do random things like cook together, watch some TV, or just discussing random family business.
I was just chilling, doing whatever I was doing, but then randomly, I got hiccups. It wasn't like a normal hiccup either, it didn't seem to disappear, I have been hiccuping for about 20 or 30 ish minutes now. My grandma noticed that I had been hiccuping for a while now, and she seemed worried. I was upstairs playing some random video games on my mom iPad until I heard my grandma’s voice calling out to me: “(My name)!!! Get down here quick, I need to talk to you!!”
"Coming, coming" I say as I ran downstairs to see what was going on, and she pointed at her fridge, saying something in the line of, “I put my chocolate in the fridge right here, right in this spot, who ate it?” I didn't remember eating a single chocolate so I replied "Huh? Not me!". She didn’t seem to believe me at all and kept asking, “Why did you eat my chocolate? I put it right here.” She kept pushing it, and I kept refusing. At some point, I got really mad, and when I was about to cry, but she suddenly said, “Is it gone now?” "What is?", and then she laughed, "your hiccup!" and then I realized it IS gone, I was so happy. My grandma then hugs me, then said, “Sorry for blaming you, but at least your hiccups are gone now!” Afterwards, she gave me small pieces of chocolate.
