Phone for dad!

I’m looking for a phone for my dad with a budget of around 15-17K. What I’m mainly looking for:

- Good battery life

- Reliable for daily use

- Should comfortably last at least 3–4 years

- Smooth performance for normal tasks like WhatsApp, YouTube, calls, banking apps, browsing, etc.

- 5G support

- Good build quality and decent after-sales service

Right now he’s using an older Redmi. Would appreciate recommendations from people who’ve used phones in this range long-term. Also let me know if there are any brands/models I should avoid.

Thanks!

I’m planning to purchase an item of ₹3 lakhs. Need some advice on the best way to finance it.

I currently have credit cards that can cover about 90% of the cost, and I also have a good CIBIL score. I’m trying to decide between taking a personal loan from a bank or taking a loan based on a credit card or paying with my credit card and converting that amount into EMIs. My main goal is to avoid falling into a debt trap and to keep the interest as low as possible.
What would be the better option in this situation? Are there any factors or hidden costs I should be aware of before deciding?
Thanks in advance!
