I just completed the porting process from Verizon to Xfinity. I got an email saying to activate my eSIM but it didn’t provide me with instructions. What are my next steps?

I’m kind of tired of Verizon $100 1 line bill plus taxes every month.
Xfinity is offering me 12 months of free service.
I have not paid my phone off. I think I owe $600. My phone is unlocked. Will I have any issues other than Verizon sending me a crazy bill after switching?

I returned 2 xfi pods to the xfinity store. They stated that I will get a check in the mail. How long does it take to get the check?
