How to fix surface rust without repainting?

I posted on here a few days ago asking about ideas of what to paint my 1983 244 GL, and everyone said do not paint her. Ive decided against painting her for the time being and would like to see if there is a way to fix the rust without repainting. Any ideas?

Possibly air leak from something under glove box. Hard to hear I know but if you listen closely, there is a hissing noise in the background. That’s what I’m talking about, would anyone know what that could be or if it’s a big issue?

Hey guys, group newbie and would love your advice. Looking to purchase an 1979 FJ 55 Land Cruiser. Ideally, we’d love to tow a 1.8 tonne van, but towing capacity advice varies on Google searches from 1500-2000kg. Does anyone know the correct weight this car tow and if it’s capable to tow more than google says?
