Cold Plunge Rated for 39-104degrees Outdoor Proof
I am building a cold-plunge hot tub unit with full heating and cooling (39 to 104 degrees) capability. This unit consists of a 240v heating element and a 1 1/2hp chiller. It will be able to change temperatures relatively quickly, with a master controller that can be reprogrammed. The tub itself is a Grizzly 450L Cooler with a Balboa Heating element, and a EcoPlus Chiller.
Can't wait to show you guys more as I continue to build it. Feel free to ask questions! I also plan on showing electrical diagrams and Plumbing architecture as I continue developing. I live in a colder climate and do not want to pull the chiller inside every winter. Minimum maintenance as possible. This heating element not only heats the hot tub but also prevents freezing!
