They did babies dirty in this game
I skipped the baby cutscene, and apparently that's it, the baby's all grown up all of a sudden. Why did they program the babies this way? It's a massive downgrade from the original game. I was expecting at least to see the baby and then I could continue with my playthrough until it was all grown up (and check on my miis to see how they babysit). But no, they decided to not let us see shit aside from a cutscene that I skipped and I don't even think of restarting the game just to watch it. (yeah... maybe that's my fault)
Peak game regardless
The wonder of Double Coins Weekend. Time to buy more clothes I'll never use!
To be fair I don't even know how to start this. I didn't play LBP back when the servers were up. I didn't even buy the first 2 games for the PS3 until mid-2023 hit, and I asked myself why didn't I play this before. After scrolling through YouTube comments and a bunch of forums, I understood the impact LBP had for a lot of people, and I regretted not playing it back then. 2 months later I got LBP3 for the PS4 just to play online, and it instantly connected with me, I even convinced my friend to play with me to do dumb and janky stuff.
Then 2024 came and while I was on a trip, I found out that the LBP3 servers were shut down for another hacking, and just 3 months after that (I think), I hear the servers are now indefinitely shutdown... Yeah... I even told my father to cancel my PS Plus subscription (I only bought it just to play LBP for what was like... 3 months, lmao). I didn't hear shit about LBP for a while, I would stumble upon my physical games once in a while, but didn't play them for a long time... and now we're here, with all the Ayee controversy after seeing everything he got exposed for. I spent like 5 minutes reading everything I had to read.
I entered Ayee's server back in March when LBPOnline was first announced, and being damn excited for the time to come, as I was finally going to play it again... until I somehow forgot. AND I'M SO GLAD THAT I DID since just today I entered Reddit and found out about all the drama. Needless to say, I was shocked for all of this, like he really wanted to hack everyone's PS4s/PS5s. And to think to me the LBPOnline project looked so promising, until I saw that one of the images used for the announcement was AI generated, and he was the responsible for the 2021 hacking... like why the fuck would you ruin someone's favorite game just to create a "setup" to get views? Thank you guys for making me realize that guy was a complete asshole all this time. But still I'm really sad. What do I do now with my LBP games? Do I sell them or something? Are they not worth anything anymore?
I know for sure this isn't really the end, but to me it looks like it. Doing stuff like spamming #FreeLBP to Sony on Twitter is definitely NOT going to work lol, but that's another subject. I bought LBP3 just to play online, only for my fun to last 3 months and get ruined, even today. It really seems like LittleBigPlanet is no more. I feel like I never want to play LBP ever again
